Time to enjoy a week off

It’s been, once again, a month ago since my last post. And that last post wasn’t really a post at all. My only excuse is that I’ve been too busy and too tired. Last week for example, I haven’t had my computer on at all. I haven’t been to dancing class in a while and I haven’t been to archery either. Let’s just say I’m really, really happy with a week off, in which I can do lot’s of things I like (and a little bit for work).

Work was hectic, first three weeks of playing Great-Brittain society with my class (school project), then a week and a half spending time on another project involving children’s books. Both were great, awsome and nice, but take lots of energy. I also went back to work on my free day, because of this course I’ll be following somewhere in March, which has to do with (surprise, surprise) reading/books/school liberary. It was a good conversation, and I’m really looking forward to the next one.

But enough about work, a quarter of the school year has gone by and I’m going to enjoy my week off … I’ve been doing other things as well. I made my first piece of jewellery (well not exactly the first, but the first in this style). It took me about a day to finish it and I’m quite proud of it.

Another thing that has keeped my occupied is Tales of the South Seas. About ten years ago, that show has been on Dutch TV, and I of course had taped the episodes. However, those tapes are a bit of a mess, still over at my mother’s and I’m too lazy to go through them. Using a source, I got my hands at a copy of the show and I’m enjoying them again. It’s been a while, but I still like the show. When I’ve refreshed my memory, I’ll try and make a review of it. I’ve got so many things to watch, though, last nights episode of Merlin is also still waiting for me. Good thing is that I can watch TV and do some cross stitching at the same time. I’m working on some pieces at the moment. Hopefully I finish them soon, so I can put them online, so I’d better start doing that and finish my blabbering.
