For the past two weeks I could easily abandon that thing which internet people call Real Life (RL for short) :daydream: . Today, however, RL, started again and this morning I went back to work. Still coming back slowly to work fulltime, I only work Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Just before the two week break, Tuesday mornings came with it. Though I loved I could abandon RL, in time it wasn’t actually bad to be back at work and I rather enjoyed myself .
The thing I do is give gymnastics to my class, and after that, I’ll be firstly helping children from my own class, and later children from another class. At least, that’s what I’ve talked through with a collegue. Tomorrow, I will be back to teaching 21 children again :duck: .

On a brighter note, after a two week absense, dancing class will start tomorrow again as well :dance: . I’ve really, really missed that. I can’t understand I’ve survived two weeks without dancing . Well, technically I’ve survived those two weeks, but then again, I have been being a pain to my neighbours, since I did the dancing in my appartment . I just can’t wait what my dance teacher has planned for tomorrow evening…
I’ve also been thinking of going to archery class :archer: . I’ve been thinking about this for years really, and I finally discovered there’s a archery club near my place. Found their website, and you can take 8 lessons to see if you like it, before you become a member. Used the contact form to let them know I was interested and two weeks later I still hadn’t heard from them. So, I decided to contact them again. This time four weeks went by and I still received no word :raisedeye: . This time I tried to look for a telephone number, but no luck, so once again I contacted them by the email form. So far no word yet … :sigh:

I did get word about my medieval clothing. Wednesday I got note that the money had arrived, and the clothes would be posted that day. I expected them to arrive at my place around Friday, but to my surprise they came the next day already . Hopefully I can take pictures of them this weekend and post them. Now I want this medieval looking travelbag with it, but I will have to make one my one, because the ones I’ve found are of leather, and I’d rather have a fabric one (cream-coloured). And of course I want it to be totally me, so I’ve been in search of cross stitch patterns of celtic/medieval like, but so far I haven’t found anything to my liking. I still have got about eleven months left, because that’s when I will need it for the Elf Fantasy Fair . Any ideas are welcomed .

There’s not much information on it at the moment, other than four people have died, five people are in critical condition and another dozen are injured. What I really appreciated, was that our Queen declared her condolences on national TV.

Read and set to be picked up by a friend and leave my place at 9.20 am there soon were troubles to encounter. At my place they are renewing roads everywhere, so it was hard to manage to find our way with all the blocked roads. Especially since I’m not good at remembering my way . When we finally found the highway, we came into a traffic block, also because a renewing of it. When we finally were on our way, we had the leave the freeway again, which meant we would be almost there. But then we managed to get lost, again. Finally at around 11.00 am we arrived, had luck with finding a parking spot. The fun could begin…

At noon James Marsters (Spike in Buffy) would be at a Q&A, and both my friend and I wanted to be there. We agreed to walk around a bit first, and then at 11.30am we would go to the “Movie Theatre” to wait for the Q&A to start. However, what we didn’t know there was another lecture first, we decided to sit down anyway and stay seated, and it was a good thing we did, because we now had the best place you can imagine: front row and good sight. The Q&A was awsome, JM was very open, answered almost every question asked an took his time. All too soon it was over.

We went looking  for the Walk of Fame, because we so wanted our picture taken with him. Finally, after a long search, noticing things weren’t exactly as on the map, we found it, bought our ticket and stood in line, only to figure out we were way to early. We decided to look around and soon we found ourselves in medieval times. Last year I was looking around for some medieval clothing, I found a dress which I liked, bought it, but it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. This time, I did find what I was looking for: a skirt, blouse and bodice. I fitted it on, the sellers were very friendly and helped me. My German however, isn’t nearly as good as my English, but I managed. They would keep it aside for me, because I hadn’t that much money with me (and remembering last year that drawing money wasn’t exactly a problem, I didn’t bother taking more money with me than I though I would need).

That settled, it was time for the photoshoot lining up. We waited 45 minutes and that’s been a good thing too, because after only 15 minutes the line had grown immensly. When JM arrived, the shoot itself went quickly and it was very well organized. He is smaller than I though he would be :duck: , but he is really nice. Below the end result:

After the shoot, I wanted to draw money, however, they had gotten this mobile atm, which was giving lots of trouble and only accepted the passes of people who had an account with them. Conclusion: I didn’t had any moeny for my lovely outfit . As I said before the sellers were unbelievably nice and agreed to sent them to me as soon as I paid. I got their business card with the address of their shop (Familago) on which I would find the email address. I immediately mailed them when I got home, of course, they are still at the fair at the moment. Hopefully I will get my outfit soon .

Well, the first hectic part the reports have been done. The children have gotten them Friday, so they can read them this weekend. Then next week, the ten-minute talks with the parents start. Since I’m still absent on Monday’s and Tuesday’s and I’m still tired at the end of a day, I’ll be doing them in two days. That’s the other hectic part.

Yesterday, I had so much fun: There was the ‘Gladiolendag’. A dance day organised by four folklore dance teachers (one of them my own): Liedewijde Mars, Sibylle Helmer, Wijnand Karel and Bert v.d. Meer. People came from all over the country for this. Two teachers taught at the same time, and after 85 minutes or so, the groups would change teachers. Same construction during the afternoon.
Faith decided differently, though. During my first lesson, my own dance teacher got after only half an hour an injury so badly she hardly was able to walk. So, since I knew the dances she would be teaching, already, I jumped in with a little help. My dance teacher felt I found it scary, so the first dance I did with three others, while she “yelled” what to do. Later one, I did it by myself, for a group of 40 people, and later the other group of around 40 people. And than later on, when they filmed all the dances. I still can’t believe I actually did that LOL. So now I’m pitiable, because I’ve got a bunch of sore muscles now LOL.

And only six days away and a new season of Robin Hood will start on the BBC. I’m so totally excited. There are new photos at a website called Shootastic and they call for fanart. So I’m off to make some now and make a start on my art website, which I’ve been planning to make for a very long time already.
